Mellfell house, on our farm high above Ullswater, with cats, dogs, horses, sheep, a cow and ducks and hens, is a loverly old farmhouse with a wealth of traditional features. We serve a huge breakfast in our farmhouse kitchen, with roaring fire in the range. Our guest lounge, with open fire, has TV and powerful showers over baths. Guests have use of kitchen facilities, drying room and laundry. There are loverly walks from the door, including a 9 mile circular walk to Aira Force Waterfalls of Wordsworth's 'Daffodils' Fame.
